The Big Ideas Behind Microsoft’s New “Design Language”

Under the leadership of CEO Satya Nadella, Microsoft began a process of transformation in 2014, which included remodeling its offices around the world. With the aim of fostering a more collaborative, learning-driven work culture, the company has put together a framework called “The Design Language for Place.” Shown here is its Milan office, designed by DEGW in Herzog & de Meuron’s Feltrinelli building.
